How to Play POT FOLD Poker

If you are already familiar with the rules of poker games such as Texas Hold’em Poker (NLH), Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO), 6+ and AOF (All-In or Fold), then learning the rules of Pot Fold should be straightforward.

Rules

KKPoker POT FOLD games play under traditional NLH/PLO format rules, except for your betting options.

The standard five community cards make up the board in three stages (Flop, Turn, River).

For example, in NLH, you must use your two hole cards alongside the five community cards to make the best five-card hand per the traditional NLH poker hand rankings. The best five-card hand will win the pot.

In NLH Pot Fold games, each player is dealt two hole cards and pays an ANTE. Therefore, players in the Small Blind and Big Blind also pay only the ante.

The preflop betting round is skipped, and the hand begins directly from the Flop.

On the Flop, starting from the Small Blind position player, they must decide to bet the pot amount or fold. The action then continues around all the players.

Once the Flop betting action is complete, if 2 or more players are remaining, the Turn and River cards are automatically dealt, and the player with the best 5-card hand wins the pot.

Example

3-Handed Game (3c Ante Table)

Pre-flop: All 3 players post an Ante (3c per player, for a 9c pot total.)

Flop: Small Blind player bets Pot amount (9c). Big Blind player folds, Button player calls the 9c Bet. The total pot is now 27c.

The betting action is now concluded as per the game format rules. The Turn and River cards are automatically dealt, and the player with the best hand at showdown wins the 27c pot.

KKPoker Pot Fold will be available to play in NLH and PLO. (FLASH tables excluded).

Other game options, such as Straddle, Post Big Blind, Ante Up, Bomb Pot, and EV Chop, will not be available on Pot Fold tables.

Pot Fold tables will not count towards players’ VPIP.
