After six months of exciting poker action across Ireland, Season 1 of the KKPoker Tour (KKPT) reached its finale in Dublin on 30 March.
Since December 2024, KKPT champions have been crowned across locations including Cork, Limerick and Mayo. The guaranteed prize pools have been exceeded in each event, with the Irish community once again coming together for epic poker battles and a lot of fun!
The KKPT was born out of the KKPoker online community spirit, so seeing the first events held in high regard has been inspiring.
KKPT DUBLIN FINALE
370 entries battled at the Dublin Poker Club for the KKPT Ireland Season 1 finale. Players entered across 1 Online Day 1, and 7 Live Day 1 flights, with 48 returning for Day 2, and guaranteed a minimum €500 prize.
The final table featured Mick Graydon, Cristian Nica, Pablo Villena, Hongting Xu, online qualifier Frederico Hitner, Kwangi Chan, Tadgh Meegan, Mark Doyle and Online Day 1 winner Robert McDowell.
Mick Graydon defeated Cristian Nica heads-up to win the €19,550 top prize.
From the start, Mick played with incredible skill and composure, making all the right moves when it mattered most. He stayed cool under pressure as the tournament progressed, maneuvering through tough spots and building his stack at just the right moments. At the final table, Mick made bold plays and well-timed bluffs. In the end, he sealed the deal with none other than Pocket Aces and walked away as our KKPT champion.
Shout out also goes to KKPT Limerick champion Michael Prendergast, who used his free ticket and claimed €640 in 34th place.
