Founded in 2012, the Battle of Malta (BOM) has grown exponentially since its launch.
As a previous European Event of the Year winner, the BOM offers poker players a full series of exciting poker tournaments in an ideal holiday setting.
The 2024 edition runs 29 October - 6 November at Casino Malta and the Eden Arena at the InterContinental Malta and promises to be "an exciting and action-packed week of poker" featuring a massive €2 million in combined guaranteed prizes.
The Main Event comes with a gigantic €1.5 million GTD, perfect for one of poker's "most talked about and best-attended live poker events in the world".
The event has always aimed to "cater to low to mid-stakes players" and "continues to adapt to the needs of the poker community".

The Main Event will also offer a unique approach, featuring two buy-in levels. The standard €600 buy-in format will be used in the opening Day 1 flight, with the final flights featuring a half-price €300 buy-in, 15-minute blind levels, and 7.5% of the field will advance to Day 2. Learn more here.

Get set for a week of poker fun at the Malta Poker Festival, bringing many nationalities together to compete and enjoy exciting 'off felt' activities such as the Grand Finale party.
Since 2018, the Malta Poker Festival has offered European poker players a new way to experience live poker in a fun and relaxed environment.
The Malta Poker Festival Spring Edition 2024 featured 18 unique tournaments, including NLH, Mystery Bounty, H.O.R.S.E, Bounty, Ladies Event, Seniors, High Roller, Deepstack and more.
The €500 buy-in Main Event had 1,460 entries, creating a €504,000 prize pool. The final table of 9 players featured 7 nationalities, with France's Jordan Dumas defeating Denmark's Sebastian Mortensen heads-up to bank the €100,900 top prize and winner's trophy.
